The Leadership Capacity Edge

Your performance is intact.

Your foundation may not be.

You're still performing in a role where too much depends on you. Privately aware that the version of you making decisions at 5pm isn't the same one who started the day. Not sure how to slow anything down without it all collapsing.

For the healthcare executive holding everything together– for the institution, the team, the family– while the systems meant to support them haven't kept up with what they're carrying.

The Leadership Capacity Edge rebuilds the biological and leadership architecture underneath that performance. So they can keep leading at that level without it costing them everything else.

IS THIS THE RIGHT FIT

Built for a specific type of leader

This program is for healthcare executives whose primary constraint is at the leadership architecture layer– still delivering, still performing, but operating on a narrowing foundation.

This is for you if
  • Your decision range is compressing under sustained load— not failing, but narrowing
  • Recovery is taking longer than it used to, and you've accepted that as the new normal
  • You're one of the most medically literate people in the room, and the least likely to apply that literacy to yourself
  • Depletion has become the baseline, not a signal
  • You've quietly accepted that this is what it costs to lead at this level– and part of you suspects that acceptance is the problem.
  • You're high-functioning enough that no one around you sees the gap— including, most days, you
  • You lead a team, department, or system— and recognize that how you function sets the ceiling for everything beneath you
This is not for you if
  • Your primary need is acute health intervention— Health Coaching may be the right starting point
  • You are looking for motivational coaching or general leadership development without a clinical foundation
  • You need organizational consulting rather than individual executive work
  • You are not yet ready to examine the biological layer underneath your performance

The Functional Resilience Framework

Not a curriculum.

A clinical sequence.

Most executives arrive knowing something is off. Fewer know which layer is actually driving it.

How the 12 weeks are structured

At intake, all six dimensions of the Functional Resilience Framework are assessed. The biological layer is always where the work starts, because nothing else changes durably without it. What the assessment determines is the depth and pace of work in each dimension, calibrated to this leader, not a fixed curriculum.

01
Biological
Cortisol patterns, sleep architecture, inflammatory markers, hormonal function. The upstream layer— sets the ceiling for every other dimension. Most healthcare executives have never had this layer systematically mapped. This is where the upstream work begins, and where most executives discover the gap between what their labs say and how their biology is actually functioning.
02
Cognitive
Decision range and executive function under sustained compression. The question isn't whether you can think under pressure. It's how much cognitive margin you have left when the high-stakes decisions arrive.
03
Emotional
Regulation architecture under conditions designed to destabilize. Not emotional wellness— operational precision. The capacity to remain calibrated when the role demands composure you haven't had time to build.
04
Relational
Leadership presence and trust bandwidth. Often the first dimension to compress when the biological layer degrades— and the last one executives recognize as compromised. The team and family see it before you do.
05
Leadership
Identity stability and strategic clarity under pressure. Who you are when the role demands more than your current architecture was built to hold— and what it takes to expand that architecture deliberately.
06
Environmental
The structural and cultural conditions you operate within. Whether that environment amplifies your capacity or quietly erodes it — and what it means for the quality of the decisions you make inside it every day.

Week 1 vs week 12

What the work actually produces

Not a set of tools. Not an adjusted mindset. A restructured operating baseline.

  • 01
    Decision quality under pressure
The decision you make at hour ten carries the same sharpness as hour two. Not because the pressure is lower. Because the system making it no longer degrades under load.
  • 02
    Recovery window
High-demand periods stop leaving the same residue. The recovery is faster— not because the demands are lower, but because the system underneath is rebuilt.
  • 03
    Strategic range
Under sustained pressure, the thinking that contracts first isn't the tactical. It is the long. The second and third order consequences you used to track but lost the bandwidth for— you start running them again. That range returns when the biological load carrying it is addressed.
  • 04
    Leadership presence
More consistent, less conditional. Not dependent on having had a good week or a quiet morning before something hard lands. Your people stop needing to read you before they bring it to you. Structural rather than situational.
  • 05
    Capacity as an asset
No longer a resource you are spending. A structure that holds— and compounds— under the sustained pressure this role generates.
Proof of Durability

Clients have returned for continued work— not because the first engagement didn't hold, but because it did, and they chose to keep building. The Leadership Vitality Engagement is the year-long architecture for leaders ready to go further from the start. It is extended by invitation at weeks 10 and 11 to clients whose work in the Edge demonstrates the foundation and commitment the full-year engagement requires. The work built in the first 12 weeks does not reset. It compounds.

Common Questions

Before you book

How is Executive Coaching different from Health Coaching?
Health Coaching focuses on the biological layer — functional medicine intake, the physical foundation of capacity, and root-cause clinical work on what the body is doing under sustained pressure. The Leadership Capacity Edge addresses all six dimensions of the Functional Resilience Framework, with the biological layer as the upstream foundation rather than the sole focus. If you are uncertain which is the right starting point, the Leadership Capacity Assessment maps the constraint in 55 minutes.
I'm not a clinically trained leader. Is this built for me?
Yes. The program serves both clinically trained executives and non-clinical healthcare leaders including CFOs, COOs, and system-level executives. The clinical foundation informs the methodology. It doesn't require clinical literacy to engage with or benefit from.
What does the 12 weeks actually look like week to week?
Weekly coaching sessions, each structured around your specific constraint map from the intake assessment. Sessions run approximately 60 minutes. Between sessions, protocols are assigned based on the active dimension— these may include reflection instruments, assessments, or targeted practices. The sequence isn't fixed. It responds to what the work reveals.
What if I need to continue after 12 weeks?
Clients have re-enrolled in the 12-week container, and the continuation conversation happens naturally at weeks 10 and 11. For leaders who want to go further, the Leadership Vitality Engagement is the formal full-year architecture— Phase 2 of the work built here.
What is the entry point if I'm not ready for the Leadership Capacity Edge?
The Vitality Strategy Session ($397) is a structured 60-minute clinical intake followed by a 30-minute follow-up call. It maps your current capacity across the biological and functional dimensions and provides a written summary of findings and recommendations. The $397 applies toward the Leadership Capacity Edge if you enroll within 7 days of your follow-up call.

Treating the presenting symptom without addressing the upstream cause is how capable people stay stuck.

The clinical irony this work addresses: the same capacity to push through that made you exceptional at this level is the exact mechanism preventing you from seeing what's actually happening.

This doesn't ask you to stop being that person. It asks you to apply that same clinical precision to yourself— the way you would, without hesitation, for anyone else in that role.

The constraint is not your effort.

It's the architecture underneath it.

A 55-minute conversation to map where the limitation actually lives.
